News Blog: Thankful in 2014
News Blog for 2014. This has been a year for Alameda Bail Bonds in Tulsa. We are blessed and happy for many reasons this year. As for myself, being a bondsman wasn’t stressful enough when I had a tumor in my lymph node. Thank God it was benign, and I can continue to post bail and provide for my family. Speaking of the family, we did get to go to Puerto Rico to visit my mother, father, grandmother, and other members of the Mercado and Alameda families. My daughter got to visit the beach and loved it. This was our first trip for Masako, Aki, and me as a family, and we did awesome.

On the business side, I cannot complain at all. It has not been extremely busy, but it has been steady. I am looking forward to what 2015 has to offer me in the field of Bail Bonds and this news blog. Thank you, Tulsa, for making it another good year for Alameda Bail Bonds in Tulsa. We have lowered the rates throughout the holidays to help all families be together. Remember, if you can donate a toy to Toys for Tots, it will make Christmas better for a child in need. We wish you a Happy Thanksgiving and hope you have a safe one as well. We offer an 8 percent bail on holidays to help families reunite. Let us know if you need help from the Tulsa Municipal Jail or Tulsa County Jail. Call us if you have any questions about bail bonds.
Summer 2014
July 10, 2014
As the heat rises, some people will be consuming more alcohol when they go out to the local bars, clubs, and events around Tulsa. One reason for someone to go to Tulsa County Jail could be to defend themselves from a drunken attack. We hope you never have to endure a situation like this, but if it does, you must protect yourself. The best way to protect yourself is to just walk away. This is easier said than done because it doesn’t always work out the way it should. Our second piece of advice is to notify security in these establishments; this is what these people are hired for, to protect clients.
If the encounter is outside, well, this is a different story. Just the other day I was traveling on Highway 169, heading towards the Owasso Jail, and I was driving a Suburban. I will admit I wasn’t paying attention, and I almost hit a truck because of my blind spot. Thank God I didn’t hit this vehicle, so I knew it was my fault, but the person in the truck drove about a mile just beside me, calling me probably every name in the book. I don’t know why he was so upset, but I figured it was just best to ignore it because the last thing any bondsman needs is to go to jail themselves. As it gets hotter, more people will have road rage. It’s impossible to avoid this, so please be careful.
If you must defend yourself, then by all means do so. Even if the police happen to arrest you, call us immediately; we will help. In the bail bond business, we cannot wish bad things to happen to anyone, but in reality, in this world, it is unavoidable. Just know that we will be there to bail you out of jail if necessary. Some people that are out in the street are actually ticking time bombs, and to make matters worse, they have weapons. Just be careful when you are out on the streets of Tulsa.
If you have little ones, make sure they get plenty of water; this goes for pets as well. Please don’t leave a child or a pet in a vehicle; this is very dangerous. A car’s temperature can get close to 160 degrees quickly. This can cause permanent brain damage, if you’re lucky, or the death of a child within minutes. Please, no matter how quick you think it will take to do something, don’t risk this. Even worse, with all the cars stolen when left running, we wouldn’t advise that either. Let’s hope we all have a safe, drama-free summer in 2014.
